Dear God, I wish there was a way you could grab all the junk email I get in my inbox everyday and re route it to the sender with a cream pie attached to the end to rub their faces in (the cream has to have gone bad too - WOHAHAAAA!). You'd think by now I'd be used to receiving junk email. To some extent I have gotten used to it, but it doesn't mean I don't find it irritating (not as irritating as before but still it does hack me off from time to time). I get at least a 100 junk emails everyday and that's just through the host provider I'm with. You'd think that I'd get less junk signed up to my host provider than I would with a Yahoo Mail, Hotmail or Gmail account. But, actually, no, I get more junk email than with any email account I've ever had. It doesn't make sense to me - I don't pay for my Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo accounts and yet I get far less spam than I do with my host provider. Go figure, people. Upside down indeed. The only way I can avoid receiving junk mail with my provider is if I upgrade my email account with them. I say 'hell, no. Uh uh'. I'm paying enough as it is, thank you very much. Why should I have to pay for something I feel they should be doing anyway? It's almost like paying extra to make sure the toilet roll you buy isn't dirty. It's a given that toilet roll should be sold clean.
Anyway, moving on, I'm gonna start doing my research into an internet provider for mobile broadband as I'd like a laptop early next year. My friend's got a T-Mobile deal for £15 a month which isn't bad. However, she said the £15 covers unlimited usage. I don't think that's the case 'cos I remember some time ago, reading one of those pay-a-month deals and in the small print, it mentioned there was a limit to usage and anything over the limit would be charged (and the charge seemed quite hefty to me). I want an internet provider that offers a deal where I can be online for as long as I want - like the many broadband deals out there. If an internet provider can offer broadband packages for unlimited usage, why not for mobile broadband?I think I might browse a home page or two tonight, starting with T-Mobile's home page - I'm curious to see what the conditions of usage are. I wonder if there's also a price comparison home page for mobile broadband rather than browsing from site to site? We'll see.
