I Need Help to Learn

I have a friend named Tony that works as a website designer and is lucky enough to spend his days surfing the net. He works with a different search engine every day looking for fresh leads for his company. He also works as a programmer for online companies and makes a lot more moneyper month than I do. I work a nine to five job and never have any spare time for surfing the net or anything else that's fun, he has it so easy compared to me.

I asked him to give me a few pointers so that maybe I could also work at home like him, but he says I would have to take some courses if I want to become a programmer like him,but like I said before I don't have the time for that. So besides being a programmer I'm sure there are many other online jobs, but he says that if I don't have some sort oftechnical education I will be earning peanuts. He swears it's not just about surfing online, or opening up a search engine. He says it's taken him 5 years to get to the point where he is earning money but that at the beginning it was very hard and he was always broke.

So I guess I can look for online opportunities for myself, but after doing some searches I am finding that it is indeed very confusing. There seems to be a lot of people earning online, some in fact are earning thousands of dollars but it's hard to figure out how they are doing it. The courses that are selling that will give me all the secrets they know are worth hundreds of dollars and I can not afford that right now.

I suppose I will have to give up my search for an online income. I though if allI had to do was open search engine and run some searches that I could do it, I didn't think it would require such a high start up fee or technical knowledge. I guess Tony didn't have it so easy to begin with and now he is just reaping the rewards of many years of hard work. Now I have a new respect for my friend I did not have before.
