He logged into the London chat room of the new social network he has recently registered with. Since the social network is relatively new, he was not hoping to find many people online in the middle of the night. Most members of these new sites generally remain off-line during these late hours.
This is why he was really surprised to find her online at the dead of the night. He pinged her.
He: Hey how are you?
She: I am fine. How about you?
He: I thought you would be off-line.
She: Didn't I tell you that I am a freelance web developer. I work late at night. This is my part time job.
He: Yes. But being in a chat room is not work. Is it?
She: No it is not. But I am really intrigued by this new social network. I think this is a nice place to be in in the middle of the night. If you go to any other chat room in this site, you will find one or two people like us. And most of them would be very unique in their own way.
He: Anyone who is online at this late hour has to be unique.
She: Not necessarily. Any one can be online at these late hours. Its a personal choice. What I am saying is that since most of the crowd remains off-line at this hour, it becomes easier to find interesting people so late at night.
He: Do you find me interesting?
She: It depends. Sometimes you talk differently. At other times you talk like any Tom, Dick or Harry out there.
He: Should I take this as an insult?
She: You can take this as a constructive criticism.
He: Okay. Do you think you are a good judge of people's characters?
She: I do not know. But I can say one thing. I have rarely not identified in the very first conversation whether the person is basically good or bad. I trust my judgement. This is all I can say.
He: So what do you think of me? This is our second conversation. Am I good or bad?
She: I think you are not a bad person. But to understand how good you are will probably take some more time.
He: Okay. I understand.
She: Okay then. Good night. Got to go. I am feeling sleepy.
He: A very good night. Sweet Dreams.
