I Need Help to Learn

Here it is Saturday morning and once again I have no internet access. Being I live in a small town, I knew exactly who to call. He only lived a few blocks away from me, so I waited for a couple of hours before I called him. I did everything that I would have done before, like unplug the modem, restart the computer, and was told to check cables to make sure they are tight. I did all of that and still no internet access. I walked over to the phone and called Kevin. Of course with no kids and not being married he was still in bed. The first thing out of his mouth was yes I know, you have no internet access. I am on my way over.

Once again it was something simple, but at least I have internet access again. Now to get my messenger loaded so I can see who sent me messages. I rely on my messenger like people rely on a paycheck every week. There are so many messengers out there; it is hard to choose just one messenger.

My neighbor and I were talking the other day and we got on the subject of computers. He said he knew a couple of web designers that worked in the same place he did, and asked if I wanted to meet them. I sure did, because that is what I want to do sometime. I think it would be fun to learn how to do things on the computer instead of me wasting away my time on my messenger.

I checked out a computer book one time from the library and it did show a lot of interesting things to do on a computer. I remember it talking about web designers, spam, junk email, domain, and a pop-up. Something else that was of interest to me was something called a domain. I decided to look that up to see what it was. It had like a domain address was like .org, .exe., .com., .gov or like .net. I have learned what a web developer is. I do know I would like to make more excuses for my internet access not to work more often, but oh well. Just another problem to take care of.
