I was sitting at the pc late one night when suddenly my computer connected to hell itself. I was so frightened. I tried to delete the evil but it was persistent and eventually I had to let it through. My computer was ravaged by the devil and his cohorts. Eventually I had to live with him being a constant presence on my computer, hogging my broadband connection when I was downloading, and tying up computer resources just because he felt like it. What a meanie. One day in computer class I was learning some stuff about networking and I realised I could reroute the devil through someone else's connection and then they would have to deal with his constant nagging and general unbearable demeanor. So I broke into the school one night and creeped around the dark deserted corridors, broke into the maintenance room and proceeded to navigate through the school via the air ducts. I made my way into the Principal's office, which was locked and the only way in was through the ducts. In there I logged onto the PC and hacked it. Then I got the name of some random person in my networking class and I escaped back out through the duct and into the outside. I then ran to this person's home. It was nearly 3am by the time I got there. I snuck in through an open window and via my USB key transferred a Trojan onto their PC. I now had cracked their firewall right open and when I got back home later that night I proceeded to upload the evil to their pc. It took quite a while because my connection was slow. But eventually all the evil was transmitted through and now devils are infesting his PC not mine. I was so happy. My networking class sure paid off. So if you ever find yourself in a dark creepy corner of the internet, where the line between earth and hell is flimsy at best, then don't worry if you get infected. There is always a solution. Always a way to get your pc clean again.

I've started my own company from the comfort of my own home by using my laptop. Wonderful invention the laptop really. My companies called re-route ltd and it's basically an advertising on-line company in which we invite companies to download their information onto the site and then they'll get various offers of work from people who visit the site such as employers. It's a pretty sweet job as all I'm doing is offering advertising space. Advertising on-line is such a good idea, I mean you could advertise in a magazine or on the radio but you're not really going to get as good an amount of audience as you would on the computer. My laptop allows me to sit on my bed and work which is great because I'm pretty lazy when it comes to working. I don't know how long this website will run for but as long as I still have people sending in their download and getting their information onto my site for a small price then I can't fail. It pays a sweet amount of money and then all I have to do is wait for a download put it as advertising on-line and we're all good to go. I don't mind it really because it gives me flexible hours so I can supply for my kids and that. I used to work as an electrician and I made a lot more money then I do now but then I didn't spend any time with my children or my wife. It was a bit annoying really because I love to spend time with my kids and they really need me at this time in my life as they are just starting new schools. We moved recently to a place nearer to my parents as they are growing older and it's nice to spend some time with them. I don't know why I started an internet company without any previous experience but it seems to have worked out quite well for me, the next stage is just learning a lot more about technology and learning more about my kids.

Tracy worked for a company called re route ltd, it was such a good company because it didn't take advantage of it's workers, it was fairly laid back and it had a lot of benefits unlike most work places nowadays, Tracy worked in the virus department, her job was to discover new virus's and work out how to contain them, she used an instant messaging program to communicate with the boss. One day the server went down and nobody knew what to do but Tracy, but the thing is she wasn't actually working on that day.

I was working for re-route ltd and decided that I wanted my earnings to go through my on-line banking system on my laptop so I decided to create a connection on my laptop between my on-line banking account and where I was being paid from. I loved working for re-route ltd. It was great. Before I worked for re-route ltd, I worked for a computer company which helped sort out people's Internet connection when their Internet provider went down. It was a great job, not only was I fixing people's connection, But I was also getting a good bonus which was discounts from any laptop or computer or any other technology device that I wanted to buy. This was great because ever since I was little I have always been a lover of gadgets and all things technology. Do not get me wrong, I am not a geek or anything. Dear God, I wish there was a way you could grab all the junk email I get in my inbox everyday and re route it to the sender with a cream pie attached to the end to rub their faces in (the cream has to have gone bad too - WOHAHAAAA!). You'd think by now I'd be used to receiving junk email. To some extent I have gotten used to it, but it doesn't mean I don't find it irritating (not as irritating as before but still it does hack me off from time to time). I get at least a 100 junk emails everyday and that's just through the host provider I'm with. You'd think that I'd get less junk signed up to my host provider than I would with a Yahoo Mail, Hotmail or Gmail account. But, actually, no, I get more junk email than with any email account I've ever had. It doesn't make sense to me - I don't pay for my Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo accounts and yet I get far less spam than I do with my host provider. Go figure, people. Upside down indeed.The only way I can avoid receiving junk mail with my provider is if I upgrade my email account with them. I say 'hell, no. Uh uh'. I'm paying enough as it is, thank you very much. Why should I have to pay for something I feel they should be doing anyway? It's almost like paying extra to make sure the toilet roll you buy isn't dirty. It's a given that toilet roll should be sold clean.

Kris loved re-route. He had it as a favourite icon on his desktop and often bragged about it in his own chatroom or on messenger. Kris loved messenger and his chat room. It was where he could socialise with people online and meet new people. Messenger to him, was one of the best things ever created or thought of because he could literally talk to anybody despite wherever they were in the world. A friend of mine decided to quit her job and is thinking of starting a business. She wants to put up her own t-shirt printing business. From the little that I've read, search engine optimisation plays a key role in driving traffic to a site. We have family who work in the web site development industry. My brother in-law and my uncle are both Web Designer employees. My Uncle Tom is head of the art department for a web design company. He is always explaining this industry to me and all I can say is, it's a wonder that he keeps his head on straight. Between keeping the companies clients happy and his department I don't know how he spends quality time with his family. He manages it all he says because he loves doing both. I guess he has good Networking that supports him, both at work and at home.He needs that to keep in where he needs to be and his mind what he is doing. Theprogram we use at work isn't nearly as sophisticated as he uses, but it'sdoes a nice job. We can set up different links as we need to for our website at anygiven moment. That's wonderfully useful. One department sets him up with potential clients and the other department makes sure he gets done what the client wants to see. It is all a dance he says. I guess he would know how to do it; I just marvel that it is all so well orchestrated.

I used to be deep into web development years ago as I have a degree in computing and worked professionally in that area for a bit. I'm one of those people who went with the wind - in my past life, I'm convinced I was either a bee, a butterfly or a playboy! - 'cos there were so many things I wanted to do. At some point in my life, I've wanted to be a doctor, an archaeologist, a lawyer, an accountant, a professional tomboy!, a traveller, a creativity educator, a performer. But somewhere, in between those, I dabbled in computing for a while after I met a woman at a graduate fair. She worked at Microsoft and it turned out her first degree wasn't even in computing. She'd studied a 2nd conversion degree (a Masters) in computing and taken things from there. That inspired me. My first degree at the time was in Accountancy & Law which I SO did not want to take further. So I went and did a Masters conversion degree in computing.Though I didn't really like the database part of the degree, I fell in love with the web development modules. On hindsight, it would have been great if there was a business and marketing element to the degree as I feel that would have been very useful for us in the real world. You know, topics like how to set up a business online, advertising on-line, various ways of doing an On-line Search (from the simple to the complex), that kind of thing.
